Dimos entered the Newfound Glory Hole vocabulary in late March 2026 and within ten days had been formalized, ritualized, and made the subject of original gastrointestinal poetry. The first explicit mention is by Kyle Derrick on 2026-03-27 ("Is that dimos?"), but it is the April 2, 2026 thread that establishes Dimos as a parallel hoen institution.

Dimos123
On 2026-04-02, Daniel Miller proposed "Should we lock in Dimos@1230" and, in the same minute, formalized it as the Dimos123 protocol:
"Henceforth to be called the the dimos 123" — Daniel Miller, 2026-04-02
The protocol mandates: (1) the venue is Dimos, (2) the time is 12:30 PM, (3) any subsequent thread mention need only invoke the string Dimos123. Within minutes Evan Bbbender had adopted it as a personal password ("Dimos123! Is my password") and by 2026-04-23 Daniel Miller was simply asking the chat "Dimos123 tomorrow ?"
The Cullen rule
As established under Blutos and reiterated by Matt on 2026-04-02, "If Cullen is joining its Blutos otherwise it's Dimos". This makes Dimos the chat's official Cullen-substitute venue, a role it appears to bear with dignity.
Notable products
- The Dimos Apilsner from d mountain. Daniel Miller's 2026-04-24 menu observation; promptly reframed by Evan Bbbender as "Dimos Apussy", a name which the encyclopedia notes but does not endorse.
- Lower-rent dimos. On 2026-05-13, Daniel Miller — visiting a non-Dimos pizza venue — diagnosed his lunch as "a lower-rent dimos", establishing Dimos as the unit of pizza measurement against which all other slices are calibrated in the chat.
Aftermath
The day after a Dimos hoen frequently produces a stretch of intestinal commentary. "Anyone else rippin Dimos farts" — Daniel Miller, 2026-04-04 — is the canonical morning-after greeting, mirroring the Blutos equivalent ("hummus fards") and underscoring that the two venues, despite their stylistic differences, occupy similar metabolic positions in the chat.
