Gash
A noun introduced into the chat by Kyle Derrick on 2024-08-12 and rapidly adopted as one of the chat's most-productive vocabulary additions of the late corpus. 98 documented uses across all seven members from 2024-08-12 → 2026-04-15, principally as the personal-possession compound Con gash (i.e., Cullen Conway's).
Gash is a chat-internal noun, attested 98 times across the corpus from 2024-08-12 through 2026-04-15. It is, alongside Bussy, one of the chat's two principal late-period anatomical-vocabulary additions and is the only one for which a stable possessive compound (Con gash) has been established by chat consensus.
Origin
The form first appears in the corpus on 2024-08-12:
"I wanna see your gash" — Kyle Derrick, 2024-08-12
The same day Matt produces what becomes the chat's standard 4/20-adjacent compound:
"420 gushing gash" — Matt, 2024-08-12
By 2024-10-08 Kyle Derrick has shifted the noun to a possessive interrogative concerning a specific person:
"Has cullen been fingering his gash?" — Kyle Derrick, 2024-10-08
This message establishes Cullen Conway as the principal-default referent for the noun, a pattern that the chat has not subsequently revisited.
Diffusion (October 2024)
The chat's most concentrated gash-adoption window is the week of 2024-10-18 → 2024-10-24, in which all five active founding members deploy the noun in their first-person register:
"I have a gash" — Cullen Conway, 2024-10-18 "Con gash?" — Evan Bbbender, 2024-10-18 (immediate disambiguation, settled in the affirmative) "And I sometimes feel like yall only hang out with me to breed my gash" — Cullen Conway, 2024-10-18 "gash + gastronomic + gesticulate / Gashtriculate" — Daniel Miller, 2024-10-18 "Cullen, your gash is breedable?" — Kyle Derrick, 2024-10-18 "Can't hurt the gash" — Cullen Conway, 2024-10-18
Daniel Miller's Gashtriculate is the corpus's only attempt at a multi-stem gash portmanteau. It has not propagated.
"Con gash"
The compound Con gash — short for Conway gash, sometimes rendered con(way) gash — is the chat's settled possessive form. Evan Bbbender uses it three times in three weeks (2024-10-18, 2024-10-21, then again later) and Kyle Derrick formalizes the etymology on 2024-10-21:
"The infamous con(way) gash" — Kyle Derrick, 2024-10-21
By the same day's evening Kyle has also produced the chat's first 420 gash:
"420 gash" — Kyle Derrick, 2024-10-21
— synthesizing the chat's longest-running joke axis (4/20; see 4/20 (the holiday)) with the new noun.
Late-corpus pattern
By 2026 gash has stabilized into routine third-person reference, frequently in the context of Amanda-related affection or absence:
- 2025-11-26 — Cullen Conway: "I have a gash wax so I'm out" — combining the noun with the chat's Bussy grooming-and-leisure pairing (see also Loyal Legion).
- 2025-12-19 — Cullen Conway, in a 6-month follow-up to the original fingering posit: "I've been keeping this a secret but he did my gash".
- 2026-04-08 — Kyle Derrick: "Hope Amanda pounds your gash extra hard tonight" — received a love-tapback from Daniel Miller; the encyclopedia notes this as the chat's most affectionate-vulgar single message and the canonical late-period gash invocation. (See Amanda.)
- 2026-03-28 — Kyle Derrick: "Nastiest gash in Portland" — the corpus's only superlative gash-related claim.
