The chat first mentioned it on 2022-05-14 when Matt proposed "we are bout to hit up birdie time for an afternoon tee time i think", but its modern function — as the bar that admits minors — was articulated by Kyle Derrick on 2026-03-08:
"I was at birdie time with family and this was the only place I could think of that allowed minors." — Kyle Derrick
