We saw alien Romulus last night

I liked it a lot

Despite some of the nonsense

It checked a lot of nostalgia boxes for me and that’s generally good enough

Yeah I think it was a good addition to the franchise

Far from perfect but generally felt positive about it

Ya they could have done way worse

I liked it much more than Prometheus/covenant

Some of the plot elements made no sense and were silly but it more than made up for it in practical effects and set construction

Disagree on liking it more than Prometheus/covenant

I think I liked Prometheus more and covenant less

Combined they made for a nice origin story of the xenomorphs
